PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR (PDR) is a derivative of a metal-working art form called
"planishing" and has roots as far back as the 1940s in Germany where Mercedes-Benz
production line workers would massage out factory body imperfections while vehicles
were still on the assembly line. The process has been greatly refined since then to what we
now call PDR. PDR is the massaging of a vehicles body imperfection (i.e. a dent, ding, or
crease) back to its original form using heat, special taps, and uniquely-shaped hand
tools. When done correctly by an expert PDR craftsman, the result is a 100% perfect
repair that required no repainting of the vehicle's affected body panel (i.e. door, trunk,
fender, etc.). It takes many years to reach expert craftsman status and most PDR
technicians never reach it. We are proud of the fact that we employ only the finest expert
